These terms explain how Afriwex Group works with clients, handles payments, hosting, project delivery, and academy training.
By contacting Afriwex Group, requesting a quotation, approving a project, making payment, registering for lessons, or allowing us to begin work, you confirm that you understand and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Afriwex Group provides technology-related services including, but not limited to:
Every project is based on an agreed scope of work. The scope may include design, development, pages, features, integrations, hosting setup, or other agreed requirements.
Any work requested outside the agreed scope may be treated as additional work and may require additional payment.
Afriwex Group understands that clients have different budgets. Where possible, we work according to your budget and recommend a suitable package or solution.
There are no hidden costs in our agreed packages. Any required extra cost will be discussed before it is added.
Afriwex Group does not charge hidden costs on agreed packages. The client will be informed about required costs before work begins. If the client requests additional features, changes, extra pages, integrations, maintenance, or updates, those may be charged separately.
If you need a website, Afriwex Group is not responsible for paying for your domain unless this is specifically included in a written agreement. The client is responsible for purchasing and renewing their own domain.
If Afriwex Group hosts your website, hosting is charged at R200 per month unless otherwise agreed. This hosting fee excludes updates, maintenance, redesigns, new features, content updates, security cleanup, or technical support beyond basic hosting.
If hosting payments are not made on time, Afriwex Group reserves the right to suspend or shut down the hosted website until payment is made.
If the website is suspended due to non-payment, a once-off reconnection fee of R600 may apply before the website is restored. After reconnection, the normal R200 monthly hosting fee continues.
Updates and maintenance are not included in hosting unless agreed separately. Maintenance may include content changes, bug fixes, plugin updates, security work, backups, feature changes, or technical improvements.
Any maintenance plan or update request must be discussed and paid for separately.
Once a project is completed according to the agreed scope, the client is required to settle any outstanding balance. Final files, access, publishing, handover, or launch may be delayed until payment is completed.
If a client fails to pay the outstanding balance after project completion for more than 3 months, Afriwex Group reserves the right to remove, delete, suspend, or stop working on the project.
If this happens, no refund will be issued for payments already made, because time, labour, planning, development, and resources would already have been used.
Payments are generally non-refundable once work has started. This includes deposits, upfront payments, labour payments, consultation payments, design work, development work, and planning work.
Refunds may only be considered at Afriwex Group’s discretion if no meaningful work has started.
The client is responsible for providing accurate information, content, images, branding material, business details, access credentials, and feedback needed for the project.
Delays caused by missing content, delayed feedback, or unavailable client information may affect the delivery timeline.
Project timelines are estimates unless clearly agreed in writing as fixed deadlines. Timelines may change due to project complexity, changes requested by the client, payment delays, content delays, or third-party service issues.
Reasonable revisions may be included depending on the project agreement. Major changes, redesigns, new pages, new features, or changes outside the original scope may require additional payment.
The client is responsible for third-party costs unless agreed otherwise. These may include:
Ownership and handover depend on the agreement and full payment. Once the project is fully paid, the client may receive agreed access, files, or project handover where applicable.
Afriwex Group may retain internal development methods, reusable code, templates, workflows, and technical knowledge used to build projects.
Afriwex Group may display completed projects, screenshots, project names, or general descriptions in our portfolio, website, social media, or marketing material unless the client requests confidentiality in writing before the project begins.
Afriwex Group coding lessons and academy programs are designed to help learners gain practical skills, build real projects, and start creating their own business or software projects.
Our lessons are practical training programs and are not accredited by any government institution, university, college, SETA, or official accreditation body unless stated otherwise in writing.
Learners who complete a program may receive a certificate of completion signed by the Afriwex Group Director. This certificate confirms participation and completion of our internal training program, but it is not an accredited qualification.
By registering for Afriwex Academy lessons, you understand and accept that the purpose of the training is practical skills development, project building, and business readiness.
Afriwex Group does not guarantee that learners will receive employment, contracts, clients, income, or business success after completing lessons. Results depend on the learner’s effort, practice, discipline, and market opportunities.
Afriwex Group will not be held liable for losses caused by third-party services, domain expiry, hosting issues outside our control, payment gateway issues, client delays, incorrect information supplied by the client, or failure by the client to maintain payments.
Afriwex Group reserves the right to pause, suspend, or stop services if payments are not made, if the client breaches these terms, or if the client behaves in a way that makes the working relationship unreasonable.
When you give Afriwex Group the go-ahead to begin your project, make payment, submit your details, or register for lessons, you confirm that you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before approving a project or registering for training. Starting a project or joining Afriwex Academy means you accept these terms.
